teaching 1 million women how to play chess & life
Only 1% of the top 100 chess players are women. We are on a mission to change. We teach women chess as a powerful tool to cultivate critical thinking skills that empower them to create meaningful change in their own lives and their communities. Project d4 is designed to bridge the gender gap in chess while fostering critical leadership skills through this timeless game.
As of 2024, out of over 1,700 chess grandmasters, only about 40 are women—and in the corporate world, women make up less than 10% of Fortune 500 CEOs.
See a pattern? We’re here to change it.
